Perhaps Vicky needs to listen more closely, as far from not having had the "slightest trouble", earlier this month Shakira was forced to cancel one concert in Holland and two in Germany due to having bronchitis.
It's common practice for singers performing a gruelling regime of shows to rest their voice completely between concerts - even to the extent of not speaking, and certainly not for 25 minutes straight - and I would suspect even more so for singers who have not long recovered from a serious infection...

Still, at least she's got the scoop on the single's relegation to download-only. News which appeared in Entertainmentwise (http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=28167) just *three* days ago. And which was taken by them (and their source openly acknowledged) from the previous day's Mirror.
The part I like best is: "But then again... I’m not sure I’m really bothered." Well you're bothered enough to slag her off for being ill. And does this mean that if she wanted an interview now you wouldn't care what she had to say? You have all the makings of a fantastic music journalist, Vicky.
